I don't see "slow and old" as options.

Shouldn't at least 75% of the squares say "fatigue"?

Can't have that. Old and slow is by design, so it's can't be an excuse.

So, St. Louis is kinda heavy and slow, right? While fast and furious is the style de jour, which I condone, gotta work with what you have.

With that said, the players need to at least work hard, which has been missing in many minutes of these first games of the season. Defense comes first. Try it, OK?

Corey Perry confirmed for tonight. Not only we're asked to be enthusiastic for the game, now we're actually asked to root for Perry. After decades of having hated him, that's gonna be weird.

The $7.5M-guy demoted to the 3rd line, Corey in the second with the legitimate hope to be a light anchor to Hintz, Downling up to the press-box, Benn still in the first line.

Well, at this point, whatever...

This is probably the best time for a hated guy like Perry to take the ice because the Stars are so desperate for help. If he can help score a goal and get a win, all is forgiven.

Yep, they still suck. The top line sees both Benn and Radulov fail to get the puck, and Fedun skates into Bishop’s leg.

The top line isn't just not scoring, they are getting hemmed into their own zone on a lot of shifts. Like that one.

Looks like Hintz and Perry will need to play half the game for them to generate real scoring chances.

Klingberg and Radulov are playing like *poo poo*. Both throwing pucks into Blue Jackets.

Heiskanen coming down and being aggressive is good. Need more of it.

in the middle of this freaking Mordor, would the Hintz-Perry association be a little spark of hope ?

Lindell took a terrible path through the neutral zone which made him unable to even try and cover.

It was an awesome goal though.

Well I'll chalk this one up as a loss. No way the Stars can score a total of 3 or more goals in a game.

Klingberg has zero puck magic this season. I don’t get it. His shots aren’t getting through. His passes are off the mark. His dangles are turnovers.
