10/14 @ Buffalo

It’s never too early for desperation. Even if it’s too early for a game on a Monday. 2pmCT set your alarms.

I guess it's a holiday for some, but what a weird time for a game.

The AAC hosted a Columbus day game a few years back. I swear there were 3,000 people at most in attendance.

For some reason, some of those New England states take it serious and close down like it's a real holiday. 80% of the country ignores it.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

Probably due to Canadian Thanksgiving today as it's a holiday for the whole country.

I'm all for extra holidays, but we can pick better people and events to celebrate.

I'm curious to see Krüger's strategy for this game. We know him pretty well in Switzerland as he has coached the national team for almost 15 years. An hybrid between Hitch and Lemaire, defensive minded team where each player has his specific role, capable to get 100% of each. Buffalo will likely go with counter-attacks knowing the theoretical force of the Stars. But if Dallas goes again in all-out attack mode without a clear game plan, the Stars will be toast.

I think we should have a holiday for Joe Friday on the day that bears his name.

No surprises so far. Stars struggle to enter the zone, the Sabres always put three guys on their blue line. They were often bother to go through the neutral zone with speed, and had to skate backwards before another try. Seguin and Radulov were both stuck in that situation.

And we're officially below 5% on the PP, good job on special situations.

It’s THE big Italian-American holiday in the northeast. Add to that it’s a federal holiday and you have a big deal.

I honestly hope they get dumpstered this entire road trip. Then maybe we'll get another horse *poo poo* leak.

Finally caught up on the DVR after going to the vet, and *f-bomb* this team is awful. They were going to treat this road trip like the playoffs, and this is their best effort?

I see 18 shots doe the Stars. How many of them would you call quality scoring chances? 2 or 3?

Curious if the Stars have the mot bench minors in the league.

Nill should make a trade. Don’t care who it is. Shake things up. This *frakker* is rotten to the core.

He should trade himself to an early retirement.

Safe to say Nill will be fired. Just a matter of when. I could see Gaglardi keeping Nill around the rest of the season just to do things like manage the cap with call ups and demotions.

I certainly don’t want to watch 70+ more games of this bullshit.

They played like for 100 games last season and were bailed out nightly by godlike goaltending. Now that Bishop and Khodubin are "just ok," the team's been exposed as lottery-level.

I'd rather see them fire the shitty coach than have the GM who signed two old 34+ year olds in the offseason make yet another roster change.

I don't expect Nill will make a trade because he will likely be fired before a trade can be made.
