Didn’t the first they picked up for Eaves get them Dickinson? Or was that Oettinger?

That was Oettinger. The Dick was our second pick in the first round after we picked Nichuskin, and then Ryan Hartman went next LOL.

McAvoy just overpowered Oleksiak off the puck ...

And Tyler up to his old post hitting tricks.

At least our first liners aren’t invisible. The first period was just bad.

I thought Dickinson was the result of the Jagr deal.

The Stars look like a bubble team. Pretty good but not nearly a contender. At least for now.

But I agree that we suck.

We need to sacrifice Sekera next for Hintz to tie it up.

Hintz looked amazing. Most of our big named players shut down, though.

I think without the horrible start, though, it might've been a different outcome.

I hope they go with speed up front.

For defense, it’s probably Hanley.

I urge caution about this every year so I will again this one.

Seguin and Benn tend to start slow. Not always. But often. Many many past seasons we’ve been going into game 4 wondering when those two are going to start doing anything. Then they do.

Don’t know much much about Pavelski.

Radulov starts a little faster like a bull ina china shop doing stupid *poo poo* too. Like tonight.

Seguin was pretty bad. Klingberg was a turnover machine.

Still, after that first period, it was an evenly played game. The Stars stepped up and stopped playing hot potato. And all of this with quite the *poo poo* show by the refs, including botching an icing call and then not even properly dropping the puck at center ice to reflect the error.

Not to rag on a bunch of injured guys, but ... we actually started skating really well once those dead weight guys were in the ambalance.

Hintz was a beast. Our first line was pretty much smothered by their awesome first line, which is par for the course for anyone playing the Bruins in the last ten years. I don't think I heard Pavelski's name mentioned even once until sometime in the second period.

But really, I knew we were 100% doomed when W showed up to drop the puck.

Seguin has really lost a step over the years. It's hard to watch highlights of him from 2013 now because the difference is so stark.

He had incredible speed when he got here. He still has an incredible shot, second maybe to only Ovechkin. But I don’t think he has ever been as fast since the Achilles.
