The Stars are clearly trying to rehabilitate the damage they did to Jamie Benn's reputation by feeding both beat writers stories about how hard Benn has worked this offseason.

I see it differently. I think they're still admitting he had some problems in his game (skating and endurance) and that he hadn't properly trained in the past. So the fact that they got him to change up what he's doing surely can't hurt.

Whichever, as along as he worked harder than usual this offseason.

...but not too hard, because that will cause him to be lazy and slow again.

So Comeau got an injury as a consequence of his injury.

In my own lexical language, I call it a "Dash" (like the laundry product Dash 2-in-1: detergent and softener)

Caamano = 5th round pick, so he'll probably rep us at the All Star gams this year.

Two more guys recalled. This now gives them an extra d and forward for the road trip.

The Texas Stars had a game last night and both played. I'm not sure what it says that they both played and the two prior call-ups weren't asked to play.

My guess is his agent found out no NHL team is interested in trading for him any time soon.

His contract lets him come back to the NHL any time he wants. Basically he just needs to play for a real coach in the meantime.

The inferior competition should also help a lot.

Any competition should help a lot. His value isn't going to go anywhere if he's just chucking down wings in the press box every night.

He should have been chucking down HGH.

I think they have set the record for how early the tired excuse has been thrown out there.

If it's already a grind at game 5, we're in deep trouble.

Fair enough I guess, when Roope got sent down 5 games into the season last year, I didn’t think we’d ever see him again.

Are there even any good GMs available if the Stars did fire Nill? Nieuwendyk? Any other assistant GMs that are a "GM in waiting"?

They're already getting desperate.

Can we just clean out the management staff already and hit the reset button before this nonsense continues?

In the season’s first two weeks, so many things have failed the Stars in their worst start since the 1990-91 North Stars also began 1-5-1.

This is the worst start in Dallas Stars history, folks. Why is Jim Nill still employed, exactly?

But in 1991 we made it to the Stanley Cup final so we'll be all fine.
