According to Heika, the prospects who had looked good the night before were Kirivanta and Harley. But I think neither of them played last night.

They didn't. They play three games in four nights to start the preseason. With the big rosters, they stack up games early on.

Noesen and Upshall will likely be cut. Noesen couldn't take a pass to save his life. Upshall was slow and taking Morrow-like penalties because of it. Dellandrea had some flashes of speed and skill that I liked but it wasn't consistent. Gurianov looks the same as he always has, just like Nishushkin.

Gleason was pretty bad. He looked a lot better in his call up before so it might have just been a bad night. Bow was pretty solid in goal.

I'll put it here: as a fully assumed lazy numbnutz when it comes to streaming/internet technology kinda *poo poo*, what options would do you recommend to watch Stars games on a laptop device ?

Is NHL Network affordable/reliable ?

I'm going to subscribe to NHL TV this year, so my sons can watch games while they are at college. Don't know how well that works, but going to give it a shot.

NHL.tv is awful on the laptop. Even with the scores hidden, it will still show you goals and stuff in the time bar at the bottom. Very annoying.

The Roku app works very well, though.

I think it's probably time for the Stars to get what they can for Gurianov before the "potential" shine wears off any more than it has.

It means he doesn't suck at hockey like Gurianov.

Noesen looked no better than Gurianov to me but I guess that's why I'm not a coach or GM.

Box looks like it could have been a rout, 47 shots for CO. Also CO roster looks a lot more NHL than Dallas. Good for the baby goalies.

If he was gonna score, preseason against our prospects would be right in his bag.

Corey Elkins sounds way too close to Cody Eakin, so I’m glad he’s cut.

Moreover, no hattie for Nichushkin, which is the first step that will lead us to the Stanley Cup.

I watched the game the other night, and I've still never heard of any of the guys they cut.

Of course they put all the Star players out there during the games we can't watch....

No offseason championship this year. Must mean we're winning the cup.

Not sure how these are significant considering I wouldn't have expected any of them to make the team.

Interesting that they released Upshall after doing that big story about him on the website because he scored a goal. Very weird flex lol
