No one can possibly replace Polak. He is like a god unto man.

Why do I always get the new page?

I wish it would tell me ahead of time because I might actually quote.

I’m the king of not giving a *poo poo* about preseason, but at some point should you start to get concerned about scoring only 6 goals in 7 preseason games?

Nah, we got Pavelski, so we're all good now.

I also don't see a downside to keeping him up. As much as hockey media worries about ruining a player by calling him up too soon, I can't really think of any players who were hurt by playing in the NHL too soon.

Val?

Nah. His terrible hands were going to be exposed at some point. Had he stayed in the KHL and then slowly made it over to the AHL, we'd all be wondering why he's struggling to score more than ten goals in an inferior league.

Three goals in this game, and all came from the top line. The more things change...

I guess the big 3 (except not radulov? ) finally decided to show up there.

Come to think of it we do have some talent.

Any particular reason Rads only played 14 minutes?

So his 1000th game won't be against Anaheim. That blows.

It’s funny. I forgot already he was supposed to be on our team.

Nill's bottom two lines are like an MC Escher drawing. Nill somehow managed to make a bunch of changes that resulted in no change.

Nill got rid of four bottom of the roster forwards this offseason in Spezza, Ritchie, Nichushkin, and Pitlick. That's 30% of last season's forward group gone. Yet when you look at the bottom two lines, it's like there's nothing new.

Ho-Sang would be a tremendous waiver wire pickup for that group.

I finally took the NHL.tv option. I'm currently watching my city of origin (Lausanne, Switzerland) upset the Flyers in the last Global Series preseason game. The quality is great, everything seems fine so far. To be confirmed for the Stars' opener on Thursday.

I've been using NHL.tv since before it was NHL.tv. It was better before the change but it's still good quality. I'm just annoyed that they took the vault away from us when it became NHL.tv.

This year I subscribed to nhl.tv. Usually I just get center ice via Dish. But since they are feuding with Fox Sports and don’t broadcast that, I didn’t want to commit to sticking with them. In the past I didn’t like Game Center because the play from start option didn’t work. But this time the option works. Yay. But, I like to record the games and zip thru the commercials and intermissions, so far I haven’t figured out how to fast forward after starting the game late. Is fast forwarding an option? Cuz it didn’t seem like it.

You can on the Roku app but I haven't tried on anything else.

Dish Center Ice has NHL Tv included this year.

I saw that, but I’m probably gonna dump DIsh if they don’t make nice with Fox Sports soon. And I already bought nhl.tv to watch preseason games before I saw that!
