What role will Robertson play? Practice cone?

The role formerly played by Nichushkin - fan hype machine with no real NHL talent.

Yeah, what a disappointment. That Rhett Gardner kid looked ok at TC. And I guess Kirviranta didn’t meet NHL requirements in preseason. Even Gurianov isn’t standing out.

I just read that Pitt is willing to trade Bjugstad, who would look good in our bottom six. Getter done Nill, and send those babies back. And Julie would look good feeding the puck to Sid.

Can we trade Gurianov and Honka to Winnipeg for Connor?

Nothing new on Johns - the team basically said they weren't going to provide updates.

They also apparently told reporters to quit asking.

I also heard more cautious statements: an injury in the vicinity of the body, some place either in the body, or around it.

Scientists have pinpointed the location to somewhere in the D/FW vicinity.

Tridimensionally speaking, did they restrict their study to the upper troposphere or to the stratosphere ?

Robertson doesn’t look as slow as I thought he would. He needs to keep his feet moving, though. He’s a bit of a coaster.

Comeau looks slow. Hopefully this year it’ll take fewer than 82 games to find his stride.

Cogliano's skating coach must be Grant Ledyard. The dude lost an edge like 20 times.

Robertson looks as slow as Upshall did. Not sure why he's still around.

Harley's a player. He almost looks NHL ready now.

I’ve run out of patience with Harley. If he hasn’t made it by now then he’s probably never going to make it.

I feel like Gurianov is up because this is his last chance to show something before they dump him.

Ugh. The bottom six still suck for the most part. I was hoping some kid would be good enough to where they could trade Cogliano and/or Comeau away.

He first needs to play two years in the KHL, complaining that the NHL is too rough for him. After that we bring him back here and then we dump him.

Honestly Harley had 2 assists this preseason. So he was involved in about 1/3 of our total offense. Hard to lose such a significant piece.

They're going to spend the season wondering what can be done at the deadline to upgrade what Polak, Oleksiak, and Fedun bring to the table. "They could use a puck mover" we will hear.

Kid is 18. He needs to go back to Junior and dominate. There’s value in that.

I'm just greedy. If he can put up 25+ points in the show, I think that's more valuable now than what Fedun, Polak, or Oleksiak brings. I'd rather have a partially cooked player now instead of waiting.

I also don't see a downside to keeping him up. As much as hockey media worries about ruining a player by calling him up too soon, I can't really think of any players who were hurt by playing in the NHL too soon.

If they'd commit to play him and not scratch him, then he should be up. There's no value in him being a 6/7 guy but if he was your 5/6 with a possibility of moving up to 4, then I'd be fine if they kept him up. Another year of development is fine too, but not if it turns out our lower D still are "meh".
