Maybe Monty did this to make us all appreciate how little he has had to work with for much of the season.

That’s a given.

Razor just said Nichushkin didn't play because he's sick.

Man... I don't want to question a guy's drive, but if I'm having the nightmare of a season he is where my NHL future looks to be fading away, I play no matter how I'm feeling.

Kind of makes me think they want the Flames. They do play lighter than the others.

Polak was clearly the only guy keeping this thing together.

Apparently. Polak is a big part of this team. Leaving Dobby in for 6 was douchbagish.

It was nice to see the team pull together to continue to ensure their streak of trophy-less seasons.

This is on the coaching staff. Hopefully it pays off in game 5 in Calgary.

Strong maintenance game from Benn. Mission accomplished.

It's a shame Miro won't win the Calder this year. Pettersson's got 65 points, yeah sure, but only 4 goals in his last 30 games after a ridick start. And for a non-playoff team.

Miro's been better at all facets of the game other than goal-scoring, and even then, as a rookie d-man his goal totals are astounding. See also: he held together a playoff team when they lost Klingberg. Pettersson? He didn't do SHITE for us when Klingberg went down.

Pettersson wins because he’s a forward and the typical hockey pundits say so. Heiskanen’s +/- won’t help, but I believe he’s been the dominant rookie in the league.

Miro sure missed him. -5 on the night. We can definitively say the Miro/Lovejoy experiment is over. Over.

I don't think they actually tried. I know I wouldn't. I would let my foot off the gas too so I don't exhaust myself before the playoffs.

They used to get like a week or two before the playoffs started back in the day. Now, they barely get a few days.

Montgomery asked him if he wanted out, he declined.
