Down two forwards. Nashville destroying our D with hits. Stars need a goal in this period.

Watching clips of the Stars players leaving the bus... they're all in cowboy/western getup. Polak *fargin'* owned the look.

This music act is causing more brain damage than 1,000 Corey Perry headshots.

I'm annoyed with the stereotype. The majority of people I knew/know from Texas are the polar opposite of a cowboy/hick/redneck.

Really irritating that the entire thing is just cowboy this, redneck that.

I do love the mini-state fair, though. That's really cool.

Wasn’t Perry’s contract something like league minimum with bonuses for games played? Kinda wonder if we’re reaching a point where the Stars should move on.

Oh, the stereotype is terrible, but at least the players had fun with it.

Our entire D-corps looks like it's made of 6 Jeff Woywitkas since Bowness took over. I am always on edge when the puck is on our zone now.

If the Preds score on this power play, it's over.

So we were just discussing "boring" hockey.

If anyone wants to know what that actually looks like, watch a "Winter Classic" game.

I think Benn has whiffed on every pass or shot attempt in this game.

No one can be fast on this ice surface. It's like watching hockey in slow motion .

The dutch angles that NBC are running with for this game are atrocious and hard to watch/follow.

I hope they at least score a goal so we can hear the horn at the Cotton Bowl, assuming they use it.

The d-man who caught up to him had no problems.

But yeah, the conditions always affect these games. Sometimes they can add to the fun by creating chaos, but too often, they just lead to bouncing pucks, which takes a lot of skill out of the game.

Yeah. He ultimately had to stick handle and I felt like he couldn't generate much of a gap before that, but even Gurianov looks like he's having trouble with it.

I think our approach until recently has been a bit off. We seem to going for that 3rd pass, but it's really hard to complete that many passes in a row. I say just go right to the net and fire.

Ice quality seems to be deteriorating pretty fast.

Given the circumstances (Perry brain cramp, ice quality, outdoor game, etc.), I don't find the game is that bad. Scoring chances are there
and quite even with a good intensity.

Mike Bossy told that the first period was the best one of the Winter Classic history...

Agreed. It's clear the puck is bouncing, so don't assume that pass that normally might work will.

And look for someone to fail to clear because it bounces over their stick. Is happening a lot.
