These Jets jerseys are ugly. The “logo” is stupid.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

That was a good defensive breakaway by Fabian.

Stars are working hard, winning races, getting shots...

Still nothing to show for it.

I kinda suspect the Jets are playing rope-a-dope here. They just don't seem like they're at their usual energy effort.

I want to say this was a solid win over a good team. But how good can the Jets be if they lose to a team like Dallas?

Despite shitting the bed on the last home stand and at every point to pull ahead to 3rd in the division race, they looked pretty good tonight.

I like the hard forechecking that we did. It creates turnovers and scoring chances.

The seemingly passive forechecking style that is usually on display forces Dallas to play a more deliberate style of offense, which they are no good at. They are just not creative enough to create good scoring chances from breaking out of their own zone or by cycling the puck in the offensive zone.

Force turnovers away from your own zone and counter punch.

Didn’t Winnipeg just clinch like two nights ago? They took the night off.

Stars played the game hard, right from the puck drop. Didn’t think they had it in ‘em. And after the first period’s glorious scoring chances amounted to nothing, well, I’d penciled in the win for Win. But the Stars kept at it. Even when they scored two goals, they kept at it. Only after having a 4 goal lead, did they let up, and let that be a lesson. Also the team now has a .500 road record.

Also with that goal, the Stars have 3 defensemen with 10 goals on the season. Lindell, Klingberg and Miro. Just typing those three names together is a kinda awesome.

I think this was possibly their best game of the season.

When the Stars get all caught up in the we aren't scoring syndrome, and they try to score is when they make mistakes. If they just go out with the mindset of playing hard on every puck, the scoring chances come.
