That’s a brutal third 4th line.

This team desperately needs the PP to start scoring.

I wonder about how people feel about Hitchcock now that we’ve seen most of this season play out.
Scoring still sucks. Honka still in the press box. Spezza still on the 4th line.

There seems to be a lot less giveup with this group.

But really the only differences from last year are Jamie’s continued decline and having Khudobin when Bishop gets hurt instead of Kari.

We are headed to the game today and I know I have been MIA for some time........5G projects and work . . . .. I repent.

I am hoping for at least one round of playoffs . . . . . renewed for next year, so maybe I might be better off with spending money on this

Maybe Khudobin is this year’s mvp.

I decided to look up last season’s March collapse. We looked like a lock for the playoffs until this losing streak, where we mostly outshot the opponents but still lost.

Man... and then on the PP, they finally generate some nice chances but still can’t score.

You can always tell when Monty is at a panic point when he puts Benn-Seguin-Radulov back together.

Jamie might be good some day if he would just have a coaching staff who would give him an opportunity.

Going offsides to end his last shift was him playing brain dead.

Is this what the beginning of an 8 game losing streak looks like? It's been a while.

Never scratch Fedun again. He produces an impressive amount of offense from the #6 spot.

Technically he was playing alongside Klingberg on the top pair in the #2 spot.

Technically.

Him standing around watching the Canucks take the puck in for a great shot should be his next bobble head.

Not the 1st time I've asked. Has this team scored on a breakaway/penalty shot this season?

They're lucky to have Dobby.

Seguin is 55th in PPG. Is that really worth the contract he signed? The next GM of this team will be saddled with those two contracts. Gonna be hard to make a big impact.

I think Hintz’s goal the other night would count. Otherwise I don’t recall any.

And they’re going to have a lot of cap space free up this summer, which they will use to go hard after another late 20s forward on a super huge contract.

Does Blake Comeau have a twin brother that scores even less?

Obviously, they'd be better off going into the summer had they not blown $6 million on forwards who can't score last summer, $3 million acquiring a faster "upgrade" over Shore who can't score, and $2 million on a healthy scratch d-man in a trade a month ago. That's $11 million spent on next year's cap on four players who provide zero offense and three of whom play essentially the exact same role of checking line winger.

Oh, and I'm pretty sure they are going to have to not spend Hanzal's cap space again this summer because he's going to try to play again next season.

Nill's cap management has been atrocious over the past year.

Hanzal just needs to go ahead and hang 'em up. He's not going to, but he needs to.
