FWIW, we’re on our second 4 game losing streak of the season.

We'll be out of a playoff spot heading into the bye week and All Star Break. Sweet.

Aren't we always? A January losing steak that ends the season seems to be a yearly event.

That the Stars at 23-21-4 are even in a playoff spot is ridiculous. Every team is terrible. Celebrate!

Sell high on Ritchie, trade him now.

Carrick fights like I imagine Honka would, only with an even shorter reach.

I can’t wait for this spirited start to be completely undone by one dumb play 30 seconds into the second period.

Like I’ve been saying all season, Ritchie and Comeau are my favorite players.

Gurianov looked just like Val on that breakaway.

Have the Stars scored on even one breakaway this season? Have they even got a shot on goal off?

I'll cut him a little bit of slack- puck jumped off his stick on the late period ice. But yeah, that would have been nice - give him a little confidence.
But hey, Comeau scored!

Gurianov’s defensive play, though, has been really good.

Comeau did get a shot on Goal on that breakaway. Progress

Ah, this was the one where they performed slightly better than expectations to raise some false hope. We’ve seen this one before too.

Just wait until they play the next bad team, then they'll look like *poo poo* again.
Still, a good win with good pressure and offense. Gurianov came so much closer to scoring this one game than Nichuskin has all season. Of course, they still both have 0 goals scored, so they're equal on the stat sheet.

The young guys were peak Wandell tonight.
Jokes aside, it was a good win. Other than a few chances (and goals) later in the game, the Stars kept the Jets away from the dangerous areas.

Nichushkin has come close to coming as close to scoring as Gurianov has, which shows how much he has improved.

You might want to check Gurianov's stat sheet.

Yeah, need to remember that one point shot that went off his knee and in.

You miss 100% of the shots that don't at least bounce off your knee.

I’m surprised Kneechushkin hasn’t scored any goals that way.
