Dude. Jeff Carter is 34 *fargin'* years old. Stay far away from this.

It would be so ‘Nill’ to get Carter.
Jim, Stay the *f-bomb* away from LA altogether. Rob Blake is trying to move all his trash.

The point of adding a good player is to push a lesser player like Comeau down the lineup and to push a total waste of space like Nichushkin off the roster.

You're delusional if you think this coach is going to give any offensive-minded forward more minutes than Comeau.

Looks like we traded for Ben Lovejoy. The cup is ours.

The internet is convinced this is a done deal waiting for this game to end, but no real hockey person will confirm it.

I hope it’s Janmark and Honka going the other way.

Not terribly excited about Zuccarello. He's better than what we have, but meh. He's also starting to get old too.

I hope it's Nichushkin and Honka, but surely the Rangers aren't that dumb lol

I forsee some dark, dark times for the Jackets in 6 years or so. But that team is going to stay mostly together.

Honestly, not the end of the world for that club.

A team trying to win? I wonder what that’s like.

I guess Brassard should be the next move, since him and Zuccarrello did great together.

I'd move bodies for Brassard, I'm okay with that.

Hopefully, that's not all considering we gave up no roster players.

We can definitely hope that they move actual players, which they'll have to, for Brassard.

So they spend all that effort swinging for the home run (Tavares, Karlsson) instead of going for the low-hanging fruit that they truly could've used (Domi, Strome), then make some middling trades that in no way shore up the team's weaknesses (Lovejoy and Oleksiak on the 2nd best defense in the league, Zuccs as a fwd for a coach who will NEVER let him play 'free range' to his strength).

Everyone else is getting younger and quicker. We're going the opposite. Really, the "missing piece" is a competent GM.

To be fair to Nill here, you don’t get young at the deadline.

You only really get younger by having your draft picks pans out, and well...

Nill needs to get his ass back on the phone and do something.
