Oooh, I think I figured out what the team’s identity is: manic depressive.

That was a pretty piss-poor first period. The Winnipeg arena seems pretty quiet - guess even the Canadian rinks aren't fond of afternoon games.

This team is not fun to watch.

There are so few good scoring chances.

What an unremarkable game.

Dumping it in with an empty net is dumb.

Man, when this team isn’t interested in playing, they sure do fly the white flag high.

I missed this one. I assume it was unbridled Stars dominance from start to finish?

Pairing the video with Benn's words adds a new level to post game review. This DMN guy has been a nice Heika replacement.

It was painful. The first three shifts were great, then it was all Winnipeg in the first period, but as luck would have it, and we were lucky, no score. The Stars played a little better in the second, even scored first, but ended up down 2-1. Refs didn’t help matters, ice was, I don’t know, but it seemed like players were tripping, slipping and the puck was bouncing. The third was the worst. Didn’t think Bishop was that good and Monty pulled the goalie with 4 on 4 late. Though Radulov made a great save it was a disaster. Then an empty net goal anyway, and just to add insult to injury, another pp goal against. And I think that empty net was a short handed goal, just to blow that stat.

No real surprise we lost to the Jets, but whenever the Stars have a chance to move forward they don’t.

Captain Fantastic would probably also agree that it's tough to win on the road like this:

Unless they find a way to stop losing on the road, it doesn't matter how much they win at home.
