I’ll be there if anyone wants to say hi. Section 103, towards the back. I elected not to buy the $8300 apiece tickets.

The twins are taking my seats in 305 tonight. Somewhat surprised Evan didn't decide to wear the Islanders jersey he got a couple of years ago.

It is wrong seeing Honka in that old uniform. Just wrong.

The most surprising thing about Pitlick’s goal was that it was intentional and not a lucky bounce.

The lack of effort by both teams is amazing

They’re looking forward to the Christmas break.
Bogorad is OK on TV, but on radio he legitimately *fargin'* sucks. You don’t know what zone the puck is in, who’s carrying it, whos’s Leading.

Hanzal stayed healthy as long as he could.

That was a stupid shot by Radulov.

Jamie Benn needs to hit. I decided to check his hit stats for the last two games. Zero. The team is tame, (other than Radulov, who needs to actually settle down a bit, Mr. undisciplined penalty minute leader), make them pay for the puck.
Too bad, really because the Stars could have easily won this game. They were tired, and unlucky too.
Don’t eat too much for the holidays boys, already too slow out there.

Radulov had one hell of a selfish, stupid game.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

I think Jamie Benn post hip surgery is a lot like Eric Lindros post Scott Stevens.
Benn will never be the player he was before.

Disagree. They were lazy and uninspired. Sean summed it up best:
1. According to head coach Jim Montgomery, everything went downhill after the first seven minutes of the game.
And to be fair, the hill wasn’t very high, to begin with.
“I was just happy that we were skating,” Montgomery said. “I didn’t like the first seven minutes. Did we make two tape-to-tape passes, consecutively, all night?”
I didn’t see any.
2. While the whole game was a mess, the third period served as an exclamation point on a demonstration in mediocrity.
In a tied game, given a chance to head into the Christmas break with a two-game winning streak, the Stars only generated six shots in the final frame and really looked disinterested.
Sure, they were playing the second game of a back-to-back, but that’s inexcusable. Good hockey teams find ways to get back their legs and dig deep in back-to-backs. Bad hockey teams are often looked at as an automatic win for the opponent when they are playing the second game of a back-to-back.
3. The Stars are 1-6-0 in the second game of back-to-backs this season. They are a bad hockey team right now, and I don’t think any Stars player or coach could truthfully say otherwise.

Man, I'm right there with you. It isn't like the Stars are the only team that has to play back-to-backs or 3 games in 5 days. Yes, Dallas is at a slight disadvantage in terms of distance traveled and time zones, etc. But a good team finds a way through that and a way to score more than 1 goal in a back-to-back. They aren't, and have not been, a good team in a while.
I will give them some credit for treading water with 1 (maybe 1.5) NHL regular and a 19 year old playing huge minutes on D for the last six weeks. But these back to back games and the road record are showing their true colors as a team. And that is average at best.
