Also, Canadian money is so cute. I was all set to get outraged over the prices until I realized that it was all in CAD and that's like Monopoly money.

195 bucks all together or just the "pre-game tour" ?

On my side I managed to get a ticket in the first bowl (section 122) for less than $150. I plan to make my beer storage on some creepy places before the game, beverages in the Centre Bell Centre are so *fargin'* expensive.

$195 per person just for the tour. I had to find four tickets together, so I ended up in the "Club Desjardins" section in 205, whatever that is. Four together in the lower level was just too expensive, even in Canadian funny money. Hopefully it won't be an issue to get down by the glass for warm-ups so Connor can watch.

The 200s is still great, especially if you had to get four seats. To be closer to the rink, Ottawa offers better options for much lesser money as the Stars will play there the day after.

We're leaving on Sunday - just a quick trip to catch an away game and spend a Friday and Saturday wandering around Montreal with the kids.

Makes perfect sense. It's better to go in Ottawa once they got a team and a new arena with some atmosphere in it.

Isn't Ottawa's arena outside the city, too? We've got a 2-year-old and a 6-year-old, so public transit and accessibility (i.e., not having to cart around car seats) is important.

Yes, the arena is in the middle of nowhere, roughly 20 mi. from the downtown and you don't have any regular public transportation that goes there. I went there last year and it was quite a pain in the ass to get out of the parking lot after the game.

@ Marc Bergevin (personal message):

Okay, now you are willing to give one of your players. We all know that your D sucks and that you are desperate to fill in some spots after your Alzner, Ouellet, Schlemko and Tinordi Jr. failures, to say the least. Charles Hudon is temptating, another Quebecer potentially eligible for a fresh start out of the negative pressure in Montreal. A gamble, yes, that won't cost a lot and I know he's pissed shoveling snow from November to May. Besides that, your #14 is quite interesting and we might eventually have some interest in him...

Yours truthfully.

I think the Wild will be better than that if they get a full season of Dumba and whoever else was out almost all of last season that's good.

Colorado absolutely could be number 1. Their defensive group is nuts and they have insane scoring.

Looking at the divisions, when the Rain City *goddess* Pigeons join the NHL, who moves to the Central? Phoenix may make the most sense.

They also had three more wins than the Oilers last season.

Val evens that out.
