You can get $12 tickets in section 308 on seatgeek. Face Value for those is $30.

I guess that's an improvement?

Nichushkin in on the 4th line
Methot out with some injury
Dowling up to the first line
Radulov still out
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

Why did we call up Dowling instead of Gurianov? Not that Gurianov is the solution, but surely he has more offensive potential than Dowling...

I read some stuff quoting Derek Laxdal, the Texas Stars head coach, that Dowling was kind of driving a lot of Gurianov's success in terms of him doing the things necessary to get the more pure scorers in a better position.

Dowling looked pretty good last game. I still would've preferred to see Gurianov, tho.

What does it say about your hot Russian prospect when the coach admits he’s only scoring because he’s being propped up by a more successful career AHLer?

It's pretty impressive that he can prop up Gurianov's goals when he doesn't have a single assist on any of them. ELITE.

This was the quote from the Athletic article:
“Dowling has been great, he’s really been driving our first line with him, (Michael) Mersch and Denis,” Texas Stars coach Derek Laxdal told me last week. “He’s been making it easier for the other guys and he knows how to play into their strengths. You can really put him with anyone and he’ll find a way to make the line fit well.”

Another quote from the same article from a non-Stars scout who scouted the Calder Cup last spring and a couple of Stars pre-season games:
“If Gurianov makes the roster he should buy (Justin) Dowling a nice gift, he’s made him so much better in the games I’ve watched,” the scout said. “(Dowling) has been the one that’s made it easy for Gurianov to make an impact, in what I’ve seen.”

We are relying way too much on our impressive depth scoring.

Gibson is playing a very casual game. Just making room for Stars shooters.

Spezza has shown some great vision lately. His passing is making things happen. He also is moving better. Nice to see.

He is pretty aggressive when it comes to going deep in the offensive zone. I like it.

And also giving up massive breakaways the same shift. That’s what triggered the Ozolinsh comparison for me.

How about some top line scoring for a change!

Who wants to bet that Jamie gets a secondary assist on the empty net goal?
