Decent win against a truly shitty team. Good showings from Dickinson and Shore in particular. I wouldn't be surprised to see either of them slotting up there on the top line after this.

Suck it haters Hatrick, Spezza, Comeau and Pitlick with goals, even Dickinson with a sweet assist. Points are points, shitty team or not.

How did LA get so bad?

Giving huge contracts to old players for past Cups. And drafting just one (1) NHL player since 2012. Trading all their first rounders for deadline day rentals. You know, all the *poo poo* we did after 2001 or so.

I still thought they looked like a disorganized team for most of that game.

Kinda the style of the game now. Speed, speed, speed and with that comes chaos. I've read coaches are preaching chaos, especially in the offensive zone. I suppose the ideal would be a sort of controlled chaos.

I mean more that there's no possession - speed and chaos I get, but I can't imagine that turnovers are being taught. They give the puck away a lot it seems to me.

Watched the Comeau goal again. It doesn't happen without the Kings defenseman knocking the puck off of Dickinson's stick. Nice to see a bad bounce work out that well.

Yeah, that was not an intentional assist from Dickinson.

Dickinson still did all the work to make that happen, corralling the pass from Spezza, losing his guy behind the net, swinging around the net to throw the front into chaos, and pushing the puck forward to Comeau, who's shot maybe cleared Doughty's glove by an inch.

I'm not even worried. And I'd wear it.
