I think we're fine. We're just like 3 Lites pep talks away from a championship here.

I'd like to circle back to the "Benn & Seguin don't associate with rookies" rumour.
Which one of us was that again?

That was actually me but I was quoting it from someone on reddit who may or may not have actual knowledge of the situation.

Seguin doesn't strike me as the type of guy who would do that. Benn, I don't know about...

If so, it's a really stupid one. Driving down their trade value ain't exactly helping out the team. Unless they know they're getting fired, and are burning their bridges to make the next guys look like even bigger incompetents.

Trying to purge fans so they can relocate the team to Quebec City?

I'll accept that if we move the Canadiens to Dallas and call them the Texians.

Of course they read TSF. It the old Andrews Dallas Stars page “Bloggers” Lites references.

Benn has to want to leave. He’s got a full no move clause.

Yep. And they're trying to manipulate the fans into siding with management. But, it seems to have backfired.

I feel like any knowledgeable fan should be on neither side at the moment.

Taco Bueno even stopped believing in this franchise.

Which in hindsight would have worked to their favour since we stopped scoring goals a while back.

I suddenly remembered when we were playing football as freshmen, and we were getting smacked around by that one team in Austin (?), like 17-0. At halftime Coach Hillary just blew up, and let us have it. Everyone was looking down at the floor the entire rant.... for a normally quiet guy, he could really fill a room with his yelling.

I think we ended up losing 38-0. Or maybe it was 38-3?

Players get paid by the game, so nope.

After adding All-Star Miro Heiskanen and replacing Kari Lehtonen with Anton Khudobin this season, the Stars are 23-20-4 and on pace for a 40-win, 87 point season.

https://theathletic.com/769655/2019/01/ ... t-cash-in/

The 20-ish hours Mersch spent on an NHL roster have financial implications. In the AHL, Mersch makes roughly $1,358 per day. In the NHL that number jumps up to $3,532, which was paid out both Monday and Tuesday.

That’s $4,348 in additional salary for Mersch.
