Remember when Kari drowned in White Rock Lake in 2014 and they had to replace him with a traffic cone painted green?

Rumor has it, it was a flock of ducks that pulled him under.

He was actually just standing on a dock at the time but somehow it went right through his legs.

I like that you chose this genetic path in regards to the story of the black guy drowning.

I don’t think Bread Man is an option in Bid D. Nill doesn’t have the expendable assets that are required for such a deal. Same for Karlsson.

Flip the coin and Nill could be in Dorion’s and Kekalainen’s position very soon with Seguin. If he’s not signed by training camp, it’s going to be a *poo poo* show.

I agree with the Kat. He's a first-line wrecking ball. He's basically what Roussel would be if Roussel had the ability to score a lot.

It's $5MM a year. I don't know that they will - maybe. But salaries are skyrocketing for talented players, so if he stays static with production, the money looks good. Term, maybe a couple of years too long.

The structure of Wilson's contract is pretty indefensible, though:

That's way too much weighted towards signing bonuses.

Wilson got paid based off of one post season performance. What is his career high in scoring during the regular season. I'm not saying he's not effective at what he does but do think the Caps overpaid for his services.

He's 24 years old and he will get even better. He might get hurt with his style of play, tho.

Steve Ott had a couple of nice seasons at one point. Doesn't change my extremely negative opinion of the guy. Not a fan of Wilson.

So Iginla retired.

Apparently, this is his full name: Jarome Arthur-Leigh Adekunle Tig Junior Elvis Iginla

It's a good thing he never won the cup. That would take up a whole ring lol

Same as the guy in "Black Panther"? Just asking, since I have not seen it.

Canes trade Skinner to Buffalo. They get [microagression deleted] in return.

*Dang all Get out*.

We aren't getting Panarin, and Pacioretty sucks, so Skinner is who I wanted the most.

Maybe time to update that True Detective poster.

According to Don Waddell (whom you may remember from the way he also ran the Thrashers into the ground), he talked to literally every NHL team about Skinner, and this was the best offer.

Somehow I doubt that. Or maybe 31 NHL GMs all think Skinner is *poo poo*? Even granting that a Sabres 2nd = late round 1st, this seems like an underpayment.
