If Val is coming back, this is going to be too easy.

Kovalchuk should round the list out nicely.

The order will be this:

Spezza
Nichushkin
Whatever spare vet defender Nill signs and/or Methot
Hanzal (he falls down the list because guys on IR for half the season don't get *poo poo* on as much)
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

Hanzal at least when he plays he helps out the team. Elie if he's a regular next season, Benn's underachieving and probably Shore.
Shore and Elie both should be traded.

I say Hagman. He hasn't scored a goal for us in ages.

Kovalchuk visiting the Kings and Sharks this week.
That Hanzal's so hurt right now.

Kovy isn’t the kind of player you want to put your hopes on, but this teams needs an injection of offense. Lord knows, it looks like there is no homegrown offense to come from within. It’s amazing how much Nill’s poor drafting has sabotaged this team.

Denis Gurianov is a pure Russian sniper, sir. And a 1st-round pick!

Raw skill wise he is, unfortunately there's more to it then that. It's ridiculous he is struggling the way he is consistently. Next season is his make or break year. Such a waste of his shot, not to be using it way more.

He’s young, inexperienced, and mammoth-strewn. He still has a chance to turn this around.

Makes sense. I doubt Nill would do much with the cap space.

Maybe under a new coach, he will do okay. I'm not expecting much, though.

Hitch didn't use him well, but then again, maybe there just wasn't much there to use.

Remember how good that felt? Back when Stars hockey looked like a place to find optimism.

I don’t think I can take another year of watching Spezza try to lug his ass up and down the ice, trying to keep up. He’s anti-speed, a boat anchor. If the organization keeps this guy around, They’re stupid.

Uh excuse me, I already declared we are shitting on Val this year. Any perceived decline in Spezza is due to him being hamstrung by Val being on his line this year.

We've gotta have at least one defenseman for pre-shitting. I nominate Heiskanen.

Whoa whoa whoa. Edmonton has a hockey team? It's like the size of Plano.

Why would the Stars want to help Edmonton escape a bad contract like that?

Throw in that McDavid prospect and it's a deal.

Doesn't Lucic have like a seven year deal? That would be stupid when we only have one year of Spezza left. Unless we're still playing Hitchball, in which case Lucic is now your #1 center.
