All the great teams rely on 3rd period heroics to squeak into the postseason.

A point is nice but truly qualifies for not good enough when you’re playing a *poo poo* team at home.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

I tuned in just in time to see Ottawa score the tying goal against Glass Fatso and then turned it right the *f-bomb* off.
That Hanzal's so hurt right now.

That's a game you gotta win.

The Stars looked like they were skating in mud the whole time. Even Radulov didn't look great which was surprising.
It frustrated me that a goaltender who gave up 5, 4, and 5 goals in the three games before playing us only let in two tonight and one of them banked off his own defenseman.

It looked like Ottawa was the team trying to make a push for the playoffs, and the Stars were the team that's been almost eliminated from the playoffs.

I suppose one point is better than none, which we almost had. Didn’t think the Stars could pull off another end of game tying goal. I thought Julie looked good, tho.

I thought the Stars looked pretty good for 60% of the game. Both the second and third goals were all on Kari. Those missed empty nets didn't help.

I agree the second goal was a bad goal (like Bishop's short side goal against St Louis), but the OT goal was a world class skilled player coming in essentially unopposed. At that point, its almost a 50/50 proposition.

I'm all in favor of Kari bashing, but it was Erik freaking Karlsson coming in one-on-one. That's a goal against pretty much any goalie in the league.

This wouldn't have been a problem if Nill had done his job and gotten him from Ottawa.
