Hopefully they’re not tired from the deadline activity.

Time to see if Nill’s deadline magic pays off.

No Hanzal.
Bishop in.
Same six D.

If we are gonna make playoffs Benn has to start playing like vintage Jamie Benn. Art Ross trophy winner Jamie Benn

Would be nice to see them go back to putting Seguin in the slot on the PP instead of way out wide and low.

Apparently all Shore needed to break his scoring slump was a gift puck in the slot, a yawning net, and an inordinate amount of time to shoot.

I'm confused as to what their goalie was doing on the Shore goal.

Glad to see Hitch is listening to me. Any other advice you want me to pass along?

Perhaps they should look at Calgary’s power play, since they seem to possess the puck at will in the Stars’ zone.

Maybe Jamie on the left point of the power play isn't such a good idea.

The replay of Bishop’s last save wasn’t kind to Spezza, seeing him plod up the ice, stop striding when he crossed his own blue line, and then take the battleship turn away from the play to head back to the neutral zone. Ugh.

Yeah. If Hanzal was healthy, I'd be tempted to just scratch him permanently.

Ludwig with a nice summary of why the drop pass PP zone entry sucks: you end up with four guys stationary along the blue line.

I think it works now and then as an option. Not as the PRIMARY play on the power play.

Well, this team is definitely capable of eeking out wins against bubble teams. They haven't shown much more than that.
