12/09 vs Vegas

The rubber match. Would be nice to bounce back from back to back losses too.

The lines shuffles were pretty oversold. All Hitch did was move Radulov to Spezza’s line. Suddenly, Spezza’s line gets a bunch of scoring chances.

I think it’s becoming clearer that Radulov is the most impactful forward this team has.

Yep and Benn looks like he’s 3/4 to 1 step behind.

Can't they just trade Olensiak for a pick already?

So I'd pull Bishop. Razor just said they've scored on three straight shots. That's not good.

Stars are 9-12 (42.8%) when Honka doesn't play.
7-2 (77.7%) when Honka plays.

Keep the same defense in again next game it's working great to rack up losses.

Anyone catch the Free Honka sign? Ha ha.

Close game, but that doesn't get any points.

This team is a one-and-out team at best in the playoffs, assuming they make it. Ho hum.

Does Bishop not look all that great to anyone else? I thought he was better than what we've seen lately.

Yeah, it doesn’t seem like he’s stealing any games for us. Average to good, but definitely not great.

2.75 GAA, .909 SV% is very average.

This team is simply mediocre.

He's great in the playoffs, good in regular season.
His career regular season save percentage is like .919%, so even though he has had his fair share of bad games, being at .909% isn't that far off. Factor in this team is giving up less shots per game then he faced in Tampa. Things will even out, when they finally settle on a starting six defense of Klingberg, Lindell, Hamhuis, Honka, Methot and one of Johns/Oleksiak/Pateryn.

I think Bishop has been great most of the time. He has had a few bad games. So I guess that's average. I thought the signing wasn't great when it happened because it's for too long, he's too old, a bigger guy too. But what I see in his play this season is much better than I expected. We are still a mediocre team, but we have the pieces to be better. The too many defensemen is still a problem even though we haven't had Methot in for a while, which is another problem. That Spezza isn't as offensive is a problem. Add it up. Hopefully we'll get better.

I don't think they're going to get better. I think if that was going to happen, it would have already.

Bishop gives up the goals you sort of say "yeah, that was a good shot" while Kari gives up about the same number of goals but his are "what the *f-bomb* was that, Kari" goals.
