Pateryn is awful. He is the new Woywitka.

They might have the most explosive talent in the entire division.... yet they can't make the playoffs. It's weird.

Paul Maurice LOL.
I was absolutely shocked to see that he had 600 career wins.

Yes, but Honka made that one bad play that one time, so let's sit him for the slow vet with a 35% corsi and two goals allowed per game.

He's been around a long time. Even sub-500 seasons could get you that if you coached that long. The question is why he was allowed to coach for so long.

I knew he took the Canes to the Cup Final, so I had some sense of playoff success from him. Google slapped me. Dude is coaching his 20th season. He’s been to the playoffs only five times. Wow.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

So 30 wins a season. Seems about right.

I don't understand how shitty coaches like that continue to coach.
