I think all goalies should get Vezina trophies
What is the reasoning for Miro playing in Finland this season?
Miro Heiskanen is playing in Finland next season because that’s where the Stars want him to play, it’s a bad answer but that’s the truth.
I asked Jim Nill about it and he said he’s comfortable with Heiskanen in Finland for another season before coming over to North America. Personally I would have him play in the AHL right away, Julius Honka went through a similar path and I think we are going to see the positive results of that this coming season.

"We're excited for Miro," Dallas general manager Jim Nill said. "He's a player our scouts have watched all year. He's what you're looking for in a prototype defenseman nowadays. He can skate, he moves the puck, he's a guy that's never under pressure. The game looks awful easy to him."
"He's a very skilled guy, not only on defense, but when I was on defense and how he handled the puck," Robertson said. "I was shocked at how good he handled the puck and how well he skated."

They’ll be eligible. Personally I wonder if Miro Heiskanen will have a chance of making the Finnish team at the Olympics, that could be a nice showcase for the Stars top prospect.
Ideally you could have three Stars on the American roster with Riley Tufte, Jason Robertson, and Jake Oettinger.
Oettinger seems like the best lock to me for the American roster, while Tufte has a good chance and likely would have been on the team last year if not for the broken wrist.
Miro Heiskanen should be on the Finnish roster.
