Maybe it can help our penalty kill and provide some shut down defense. I'm just afraid if he's slow (as I think Jason mentioned) that he might not fit in with the rest of the team. Although, the fast Stars I'm thinking of will now be two years ago with some significant turnover with the forwards, so it might be fine. Our style now might be up tempo but not quite as fast as before.
There was a sense of relief and excitement when he got the call from Dallas GM Jim Nill that he’d been acquired by the Stars. He played for Dallas coach Ken Hitchcock in Columbus so the two are familiar with each other.
“If I’m to go anywhere that would have been one my prime destinations. Not that I had a choice but it worked out well. They have a great team there. They’ve got (Ben Bishop) in net now and they’ve got a good a (defensive) core, some great forwards an some veterans. It’s a great situation for me personally.”

What was it like to be a Vegas Golden Knight?
Methot: You know what, I'm anxious to see this farewell tribute video that they're going to probably make. So, I'm looking forward to that. And it'll be an emotional night when I play there, but it's something you've got to deal with when you're a pro.
