Yeah. Minus the talent and character.

Poor Jagr. He said no GM has called him.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

It's probably because Jagr won't be a top option for a team, he's probably a secondary or third option. After some teams are told they're out on like Radulov, Williams, Marleau, etc, then Jagr will generate interest.

So we don't want Justin Williams? He seems like a decent player to me.

I certainly do. He'd be the team's second best winger.

I would like Justin Williams. He's not a top-line winger anymore, but he produces solid numbers for a 2nd or 3rd line winger, plus (as much as leadership is overblown) we had too many young players last year. He's been there and done that and can help out a lot.

He's pretty good. He hasn't been a top-line scorer in over a decade, but was a 60-75 point guy when he was. Now he's a Corsi juggernaut, and Mr. Game Seven, etc etc. He's a glue guy that makes his line better, a la Jere. But he's also pretty much the only UFA RW worth a *poo poo*, so expect him to get stupid money.

I'd be just fine with Williams. I don't think he's awesome or anything, but he's certainly a better option than rolling out Curtis McKenzie on the second line.

I'd be fine with stupid money on a 2 or 3 year term. We have cap space. I just don't want to see a 5-7 year deal for a 35-year-old.

Would Jagr fit in on the Stars? Even with the likely reduction in speed in Hitch's system, it seems like he'd still be too slow.

Probably not, except if we need help on the PP.

Can Bonino play wing? I'd be interested in him. Winnick as well.

Somebody will take that dude I bet. Holy *poo poo*. He needs to play until he's 50 and make Gordie Howe look like a chump.

I'd be just pleased as punch with a Justin Williams and a Gagne or Winnick signing.

He's playing this year somewhere. He's like 50 games away from breaking the all time record for games played.

Based on Dreger's tweets the 3-4 shortlist for Justin Williams are the Stars, islanders, Flyers and Lightning.

Williams is awesome in the playoffs.

You mean Sam Gagner? Gagne is retired.

NHL Network talked to Chris Johnston, he mentioned the Stars are a team to watch, Marleau, Williams and Radulov are some players they're interested in.

LeBrun mentioned on TSN the Stars are after Radulov.

– The interest in Patrick Marleau continues to be strong. The Sharks are still very much in the mix to keep both him and center Joe Thornton but a couple big-market teams remain in contention for Marleau in the New York Rangers and Toronto Maple Leafs. According to an NHL source, Mike Babcock is putting the hard sell on Marleau and it wouldn’t be surprising if he’s done the same for Thornton.

I like Williams, Marleau, Vrbata, a healthy Hemsky or Sharp could be Ok. Winnik and or Gagner would be solid depth.

Radulov isn't on my list, but Nill does have something with the Russians. Maybe Val comes back. Or we could pick up Nail Yakapov too. :P

I kind of wonder if Sharp ever was really okay with leaving Chicago.
