This is fantastic. Apparently Kris Versteeg (stigalicious) enjoys outright bullying Toews on every...single...thing that Toews posts on Instagram.

I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

The Sabres signed Jack Eichel to an eight year contract at $10 million per season. He’s about to turn 21.

Pretty big commitment.

Eichel is a pretty great talent. But 10 million right out the gate is an awful lot. In the end though, why not? He will continue to be worth it.

I think it was Puck Daddy that made a good argument about how backwards the NHL contracts are. Teams should be paying the Eichel's and McDavid's and the Draisaitl's the biggest paydays early while they are in their prime, not once they hit UFA status and are starting to decline.
