Don't forget the time that Milbury traded Spezza AND Chara to Ottawa for Yashin, whose contract they are probably still paying off.

Milbury may have singlehandedly robbed the Isles of a second dynasty.

Also, had he not gotten rid of Luongo, the pick that he wasted on DiPietro would have gotten him Heatley LOL.

Quite a bit faster than I would've though. Although I was disappointed that the sound wasn't old timey piano music.

Pistol- how did that game look in person?

Kari Lehtonen would have let those in.

Much more colorful.

I'd swear the rink is bigger. It's more like soccer.

They were all lean from carving and installing all those confederate statues.

Oh nm. I see he was about 25 years of old so didn't quite fit the template.

Yeah, Thornton was all old and used-up by then.

I'm pretty sure Jason Allison was 21 when the Bruins traded him too. Or was it 25 like Thornton? It was definitely when he was in his 20's though. Or possibly 30's. No age limit is safe when it comes to playing for the B's.

Also Dougie Hamilton. Not a superstar, but I thought of Boston trading away great players when I saw him listed in the top 20 defenseman in an nhl.com article today.

Jason Allison was so slow I just assumed he was born at age 35.

Leafs
A scout with the Toronto Maple Leafs was arrested over the weekend after deputies say he got drunk, stole a golf cart at Darien Lake, hit another vehicle and left the scene of the accident, according to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office.

The chain of events took place at 9993 Alleghany Road in Darien Center. Deputies say Lindsay I. Hofford, 53, of Nobleton, Ont., took the cart at about 11:40 p.m. Saturday.

I didn't know Belfour was a scout for the Leafs. Cool.

The problem with having Belfour as a scout is he keeps trying to draft two of every player.

Scott White quietly to Nill: Why does Belfour keep suggesting that we trade every player for a 5th?

Shane Doan retired. One team career, a rarity. Always liked him, especially his and Turco's little bromance.

He made sure to specify "retiring from the NHL" in his letter.
Which means no team wanted him and he'll probably play at the Olympics.
