It's all about PK winning the Cup and Habs fans being butthurt.

Good point. I'll root for Nashville.

Let's all celebrate our love of PK by dressing up like him and going to a game. That went over well the last time some fans did it.

Will Ribeiro finally get his name on the Cup?

Because he played in 46 games for the Predators this season if they win the Cup his name will be on it.

Final paragraph: http://www.nhl.com/ice/page.htm?id=25432

To have one's name engraved on the Stanley Cup certain requirements must be met. A player must have at least 41 games played with the club or one game played in the Stanley Cup Finals. However, in 1994 a stipulation was added to allow a team to petition the Commissioner for permission to have players' names put on the Cup if extenuating circumstances prevented them from being available to play.

Another cheap cup for the Pens. Such a bad year. Last year's stars would've stomped the entire field of this year's playoffs, even with the bad goaltending

A Finnish goalie breaking hearts late in a third period triggers my PTSD.

I'm not one to support tinfoil conspiracy theories about preferential league treatment, but holy *poo poo* did the Preds get utterly fist fucked by the refs in that first period.

It's not gonna take much to motivate them for game 2.

Plus, it will troll all the racist bigots who hate him. I'm pulling for the Preds too.

Too bad he didn't sneak an AR-15 into the arena and shoot up the ice, he would have had the NRA screaming about 2nd Amendment rights instantly.

OK, Catfish Guy is pretty *Dang ol'* awesome:

https://sports.yahoo.com/news/nashville ... 33014.html

The fish was too big, so he ran it over with his truck to flatten it some.

They took him to the detention room at the arena, where the drunks are questioned after fights. (Waddell said he was stone cold sober.) “They’re all staring at me, trying to take it serious. One said ‘I hope you’re satisfied’ and I said ‘yeah, I am,’” he said.

Waddell said the police were charging him with disorderly conduct, which would be a citation mailed to him with a fine he could pay or fight. Like a speeding ticket, or any other minor offense. Instead, Waddell found out through the media on Tuesday that the charges are “disorderly conduct, disrupting a meeting and possessing instruments of a crime.”

The instrument of crime, again, being a catfish flattened by a truck.

Did P.K. Subban, Predators’ star defenseman, know that fish could be instruments of crime? “No, I did not,” he said on Tuesday. “But I hope someone saved the catfish, because I’ve never had it before. So maybe I’ll have it for dinner tonight.”

It seems like every time I put all of my hopes and dreams into the Nashville Predators, they disappoint me.

Yes. All one times that I've done that.

I often find that nothing is a worse sign than outplaying a team and still losing.
