He won't.

Klingberg playing with Nemeth to start the second.

Lauri Corpse with his first as a Star.

Hamhuis gets his first assist as a Star.

Our bottom 6 and Niemi won us that game. I did not see that coming.

Bennguin looks rusty.

Johns looked like a stud those first two periods.

Anaheim's first line always owns us and our bottom lines own them. Because Anaheim has no friggin' depth, but a few awesome players.

The key to this game, I think, was their first line couldn't get one through on Niemi this time. That's really unusual.

BTW,

Jordie Benn finished with only 13 minutes of ice time tonight.

We sill see a different defenseman subbed in for him next game.

The rest of the defense was actually pretty solid and each had some nice plays.

Wasn't slavery outlawed in 1865? Because Cogliano owned Spezza all night.

Also: above-average netminding from Niemi. Which probably translates to "Kari starts next 7 games" in Ruffthink.

Remember when Niemi shut down the Penguins in game one last season and I was all: "He's our new starter for life! Suck it Kari!"

Those were good times.

Yeah, he needs to sit. Hopefully Lindell is in for the next game.
