30 shots in a period has gotta be close to an NHL record, right?

The broadcast showed a stat that it's not even a team record. The Stars in like 76 or something had 32 shots in a period.

He looks like a completely different player this game. If this is the real Nichuskin he might be a nice player.

Nice job by Faka to contribute to secondary scoring.

I think it's time for the first line and Klingberg to start pulling their weight.

Thank goodness we didn't have to watch another 6man attack Anaheim team tie it up.

Val looked like a beast all night. By my count, he created some 6 or 7 scoring chances. Mostly via passing.

Poor Seguin. He really deserved a hat trick tonight. Gibson got *fargin'* lucky as *poo poo* on that second rebound.

Honka > Polak

Not sold on Khudobin. I guess its his first game and all, but he looked incredibaly shaky. Almost turned an utterly dominant performance into an L.

Todd Nelson is the shizz.

Khudobin was jumpy as hell. Settle down, big man. Settle down.

I’m glad we’re barely able to beat Anaheim when they’re down several important players.

I really didn’t think this recycled game day thread had another win in it.

Y’all talking about the North Stars in here?

Oh and Halak is 2-0 with only one goal against so far.

Is Connor Carrick the Chiasson of defensemen now? He’s a point per game player at the moment.

Khudobin reminded me of Tobias Stephan. Very bad.

I think y'all are downplaying the impact radulov had when playing with Val in 2nd and 3rd. Val looked 200% better with Rads

He's been a surprisingly good pickup. Why'd Toronto get rid of him?

I’m no Stars mediocrity apologist, but in this particular game the score should’ve been about 15-1. It was just really bad luck in the beginning.

Still would like to see a forward not named Radulov, Seguin, or Benn beat a goalie.

Doesn't it seem like at this point our other lines should at least be accidentally scoring sometimes? I mean Jesus Christ.

Spezza has almost caught up to Carrick in scoring. I’m not sure how much more secondary scoring you could possibly want.

We’ll be fine as long as our top 3 can score 80 goals apiece.
