Today's updates from Monty:

- Honka and Dickinson will play. No word yet on who is scratched.

- Monty is keeping the top line intact but is shuffling the three fourth lines.

- Monty clearly thinks Honka sucks. Check this out:

I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

But Ritchie (who wears a visor) got into a slapfight with another guy wearing a visor, so that makes him an effective player now!

Ritchie's been good in limited minutes. He's created a lot of offense from nothing, even tho nothing has resulted in a goal yet.

Nuke should be back to his ridick fastness once he gets his game legs back.

What would help "Nuke" be faster would be more effort. After losing a puck battle, he needs to put his foot into the ice to stop and change direction. Taking large looping turns only guarantees you will be behind the play.

What would help Nichushkin get faster is being traded for Panarin. There's less gravitational pull in Ohio.

Looping around like that is indicative of a lazy hockey player. Malkin does that *poo poo*.

I started to make the thread for tomorrow's game and the thread title autofilled as I was typing it. So either my computer had gotten WAY too good at predictive (predictative?) text, or I had made this thread before.

Khudobin starting tonight. I’m not sure what to think, I can’t remember the last time playing the backup goalie didn’t mean a guaranteed loss.

Bishop gave up a lot of goals in the last game, but it didn't feel like his fault. Still, good to see Khudobin and glad that Julie and Dickinson are in as well. Speedier.

Monty doesn’t think very highly of Honka.

I checked seat geek and prices were still high with limited options. If people aren't planning on going, they ain't selling.

Khudobin did not make me nervous when I saw him in the preseason. This is an automatic step up from Kari.

That face plant by Benn looked awkward and painful.

It looks like Anaheim’s decision to only play one period of hockey was ill advised.
