Hopefully Quenneville tippetts the *f-bomb* out of Chicago and onto our bench as Hitch's heir-apparent.

Quenneville has been pissed since they fired one of his assistants. That situation is getting awkward.

The Wild also free up a lot of cap space.

God, I hate the salary cap.

It does help them a little bit money wise, Ennis makes close to $5 million, then Foligno is a RFA will probably get $2 to 2.5 million. So they save a little bit, which will go to Granlund and Niederreiter (probably around $10 million per year to sign both).
Ennis has missed a lot of games the past two years and Foligno has some size, his career high is only 12 goals.

OR: get back Eakin, then trade him for Draisaitl.

I haven't picked a new player to hate yet.

Bonino and Hartnell are solid additions for Nashville.
Colorado acquiring Colin Wilson from Nashville for a mid round pick is a good move for them.

So how bad is Seabrook?
He's worse then Oduya at defending his own blueline, and worse clearing the puck out of his own zone then Jordie Benn.

Graph view

Since the chart is pretty cluttered, here's a closer look at the best and worst at defending their own blueline.

Lower percentage is better. Higher percentage is worse,

On the flip side here are the best and worst with the puck when it comes to transitioning cleanly out of their own zone.

Higher percentage is better, lower percentage is worse.

Those charts make Cam Fowler look pretty awesome.

He'd be stupid to take that discount. He'll be a $7 million player really soon.
