Blackhawks now 15-2 since trading away Daley. Penguins are 6-10 since acquiring him.

That's better than the 1 and 9 they were before acquiring him.

I wonder how that's going to go in the Anaheim locker room. Remember all the dipshittery from Garbutt in that playoff series?

I'm more worried about what happens the next time the Stars play the Ducks. Perry and Garbutt together are going to end several careers.

I guess we shouldn't be surprised. It explains why he was able to out skate everyone at his age.

Smart gamble on his part. If the recovery granted from the PEDs allowed him to stay in the league these last few years and collect a few million extra bucks, 20 games and $370k is a pretty good tradeoff if you're Horcoff.

You're probably right, but I'd have to hear it first to be absolutely sure.

Plus, with all the male lactation, he'll save a bundle not buying milk at Kroger.

"While recovering from an injury I suffered this past fall, I tried a treatment that I believed would help speed up the healing process," Horcoff said in a statement. "Although I was unaware that this treatment was not permitted under NHL rules that is no excuse whatsoever. I should have done my research and I should have checked with the NHL/NHLPA Performance Enhancing Substances Program's doctors. I accept full responsibility for my actions, and I am sorry. Throughout my entire career I have felt genuinely blessed and honored to play the great game of hockey and I regret the impact that this may have on my team and our fans."

20 games is a long time off and it's really easy to get out of shape during that timeframe. He's going to have to work hard to get back into game shape when it's all over. And to expedite the process, he might want to consider taking PEDs.

I feel like there are some lessons for Seguin here.

Agreed. That is what might be the most maddening about him on the powerplay. He'll get the puck, look around for a it, clearly decide not to pass, then wind up for a shot. I suppose that must work in practice on Kari, but no other goalies let shots like that by.

Seguin isn't quite right lately. Earlier in the season he seemed to get off the shots a lot quicker. Last game he finally was in position quickly enough to score and he flubbed the shot. Plus he's always in the same spot, the Stars always go to him, the other team knows it.
