Ribeiro smarmily saluting the crowd in MTL after being named the game's first star is a memory that I hold very dear.

Roussel scoring that breakaway gamewinner against the Blackhawks and then telling the crowd to shut the *f-bomb* up was a good one.

Alex Chiasson was ejected from last night's game for spearing. It was against Philly, so they may have deserved it. Or maybe Alex is just frustrated with his 8 goals and 15 points in 57 games this season with Calgary. :P

Eaves now with 6 goals in 13 games for the Ducks. He's gonna ca$$h the *f-bomb* in as a UFA.

Back to Dallas! He fits in with our new slow, pesky style. Can you imagine the defensive that a Jagr-Spezza-Seguin line could mount?

He won't come to Dallas. He's chasing records. A record in his sights has to be most teams played for. Jagr is on team number eight. Only five more to go, and he owns the record.

I love Eaves, but he never got paid anywhere close to what a healthier version of him would have over the years. He's spent his whole career getting small extensions because no GM would commit serious money to him. Some team is going to money whip him. He'll probably end up leaving a fan base angry when he spends half of his time on IR, but no one has payed the iron price more than Eaves.

Agreed 100%. The dude hasn't even practiced in like three years because he is so fragile. He only played games.

I'm sure he wouldn't mind, but mostly I think he just wants to have fun and play hockey.

Yeah, if Jagr really wanted to win another Cup, he'd actually skate back occasionally to play defense.

I just think it would be cool to see him win again. Would he be the oldest player to win at this point?

An article from NBC says that the Russian Hockey Federation is going to push for Russian players to stay in the KHL and for Russian NHL free agents to come back so they can play in the Olympics. Obviously money talks, but curious whether this would have any impact on Nichuskin possibly coming back with Ruff no longer being the coach (or whether he would have any chance of making their Olympic team anyway).

Article is here: http://nhl.nbcsports.com/2017/04/05/russia-wants-players-back-in-khl-for-olympics/

First question: would he make the Olympic team?
