He was all set to go with Quick got injured, but then Petr Effing Budaj shows up and starts stopping everything thrown his way.

Stransky looks awesome. Could be another Brett Ritchie.

Keep in mind, Hicks went after Turgeon all because of his play in that series. You could say Zubov's bad pass is why Turgeon became a Star.

So no one's mentioned Riberio was waived by Nashville and sent down to the AHL?

Nashville has not recorded a single goal since waiving Ribeiro.

Matvichuk icing the puck 11:27 in the second period in a 0-0 game against the Islanders in 2002.

Those are obvious. Let's make it a top 5 of each, since you guys love lists.

The Good:
--Zubov's shot off of Newy's leg to win Game 4 in triple OT against the Oilers in 1999. The one that clinched the series, a sweep, but with every game decided by one goal.
--The third period of the game where Jamie won the Art Ross. Totally *fargin'* epic.
--Aaron Downey taking out that one dude with a single punch.
--Modano's shorthanded breakaway against the Sharks to either tie or win the all-time American scoring record (I forget which)
--Literally every time Hagman ever touched the puck.
--Jamie's goals against Detroit/Columbus, in which he beat five guys to score
--Mike Keane deking Patrick Roy out of his skates in Game 7 against the Avs in 1999
--Scott Glennie on draft day

The Bad:
--Jason Arnott scoring the Cup-stealing goal with an illegally-curved stick
--Steve Ott getting jumped by Travis Moen and four other Ducks, while Modano and Neal et al stood around and watched
--Kari's Game 6 meltdown against the Ducks
--Kari's Game 7 meltdown against the Blues
--Every single playoff series Tippett ever coached outside of 2008. This includes both Colorado upsets, the Ducks upset, and the Oilers near-upset.
--That line brawl where whoever we were playing put five goons on our five skill guys, and pounded the ever-living *poo poo* out of everyone, especially Sydor
--Ott and Avery acting like morons against the Bruins

The last item included in his Sunday Slapshots column:

Larry Brooks wrote:We report: Tony Esposito, 886 games, 418-302-147, 2.93 goals-against-average, 2.57 adjusted GAA (thanks Hockey-Reference.com), 74 shutouts; no Stanley Cup after having allowed perhaps the worst goal in NHL playoff history, the Game 7 90-footer to Jacques Lemaire that tilted the 1971 final on its head; Ed Belfour, 963 games, 484-320-125, 2.50 GAA, 2.60 adjusted GAA, one Cup.

You decide: Whether Tony O, rather than Belfour, should have been a Greatest 100.

That was your current analyst Brent Severyn who destroyed Sydor. Left-winger for the 1999 Stanley Cup champion Dallas Stars. For 3 pre-season games.
