Wow. So, they are on pace to win 8 games now instead of 0.

Mark Fistric apparently has become a fireman in Edmonton following his hockey career:

https://www.nhl.com/stars/news/schedule-of-events-for-dallas-stars-jere-lehtinen-retirement-ceremony-on-nov-24/c-293239104

5 p.m. - KIA Victory Green Carpet (located on Victory Plaza at American Airlines Center)

Lehtinen and his family will walk down the KIA Victory Green Carpet along with other Stars dignitaries, including Brett Hull, Joe Nieuwendyk, Ed Belfour, Guy Carbonneau, Craig Ludwig, Neal Broten, the family of Bill Masterton, Brenden Morrow, Marty Turco, Bob Gainey, Dave Tippett, Doug Armstrong, Tom Hicks, Norm Green and other guests.

No Mike Modano. I wonder if this is MIke's decision or the team's decision. Pretty childish if MIke is holding out because of his feud with the Stars.

He's probably just busy for the holiday weekend. Modano was around earlier this season for another former player tribute.

Jere and Mo were polar opposites.
One never spoke and the other always had his mouth open.

16 games without a goal? Glad he's not on our team anymore. :Giggle:

That sounds like an upgrade over Hanzal to me.

After he'd scored the goal that tied the game 3:01 into the third period:

Why were the Leafs forwards going to do the glove bump along their bench?

Ribeiro has agreed to re-enter the NHL's substance abuse program.

Don't you have to be in the NHL to utilize the NHL substance abuse program?

I don't see the point. He's pushing 40 and is a locker room cancer. His career is over.

Even if he never plays again, I hope he gets help before he dies or blows all his money.

Oh his career is definitely over, but just like with the WWE and their Talent Wellness Program, you still get league benefits after you're done. Once you're in a PA you're in. I'm pretty sure it's like that with every major sport no? Football pensions as a basic example etc.
