Wrong. I may be an optometrist, but Val has never done anything. :CH

But that doesn't mean he's the best D-man in the West. It means he's quite good at a young age with a very attractive contract.

Yeah, but other than MAYBE Subban or Doughty, which Western d-man would you take over Klingberg? Not including pre-ankle-injury Karlsson, obviously.

Yes, we have 4 top notch players. We also have one playoff experience to show for it. And none of the kids in the pipeline look like they'll impact scoring in the next 2 years, so as of now, this looks like another wasted season.

And in two years, Radulov will probably have declined enough to where all that's happening is one hole gets filled while another gets created.

I look forward to his call up where he scores two points in 11 games and then we get a TRUST THE PROCESS article from Heika about how great he’s going to be.

No thanks. I’m too busy trusting the process for Dickinson.

As long as the process fires Nill, I'm on board with it.

Hintz has been invisible. Just another guy pouring ice time down the drain.

I think he’s been worse than invisible. He is very turnover prone. I’m not if he just sucks and we should write him off completely, or if he is just not ready for the show yet.

This should give Dickinson some more ice time, which will I'm sure pay dividends.

Denis Gurianov continued his hot play with his fifth goal in as many games. Laxdal noted that he’s also been one of the team’s best backcheckers, and he plans to use him on the penalty kill starting next weekend.

I can't remember the last time the Stars had one of those.

His AHL production was nothing special.

Then again, the Stars have only drafted three or four Russians ever, so it’s not like we’re talking a big pool of players.

Actually, the Stars drafted more Russians than I thought if you go back a ways, but they’ve only drafted three in the past 14 seasons — all first round picks. Maybe in their cheapness they didn’t have any scouts in Russia.

Check out 2000. They drafted four Russians. Three of them never left Russia. The one who made it over played only 16 games in the AHL.

At least back in 2000 we could blame our shitty draft picks on shitty draft spots.

Oh sure. He looks like an NHLer until he gets to the NHL. Then he looks like an AHLer.

Good call.

The dividend yield on this stock sucks.
