What this team needs is a player who only contributes two months out of the season.

The thing with Gurianov is he the shot to score a lot of goals in the NHL. The problem is he's so inconsistent, either way he'll be a better NHL player then what he is in the AHL.

That's two months more than a lot of top-6 guys on the current roster.

If Vegas finishes off the sweep of LA, guess who will most likely get sent down to Ontario and start Game 1 in goal against the Baby Stars?
Image Cody Monette likes this.

Campbell was not sent down, so he was not the losing goalie, FYI. Also, Matt Moulson is playing for the Ontario Reign. Something wrong with that picture.

I read that his contract for next year is one way. Will be interesting to see how he does.

He can still be sent down on a one-way deal, he just keeps getting paid the same. I assume the Kings didn't do the paperwork and paper "demotion" necessary to make him eligible.

If the Stars win they advance to the next round.

Stars advance, they'll play the winner of Tucson Roadrunners or San Jose Barracuda in the second round.

McKenna has stopped 91 straight shots over two games (one in relief).

Good for him. That's being on your game no matter what the level!

Seems like every year I'm watching texas stars in the playoffs, and Dallas stars not in the playoffs. You'd think if you have a good farm team for about 5 seasons eventually you'd have a good NHL team. Not for us. Go Texas Stars!!

Well some of those players are/were helping other teams make the playoffs or during the playoffs.

I'm just glad our guys are getting crucial World Championships experience instead of wasting away in the playoffs.

Does Nill promote Laxdal if the baby Stars win the whole damn thing?

I don't like how the first round of the AHL playoffs is a best of 5.

That's only 1% as stupid as having part off the league play eight fewer games because California.

Would be good to see how he fares against AHLers in playoff mode.
