It's ridiculous.
Either way they're going to lose to Toronto. He and Hintz have great chemistry so change up the lines in game 4 (when up 3-0 in the series) move him down to the fourth line, now scratch him.
Hintz is suppose to be NHL ready, but can't even get off the third line in the AHL? Player management in the AHL makes no sense.

Aaaaand tickets for Game 1 on Saturday bought :)

JayBot is correct in that they'll prolly lose to Toronto, BUT, if by some chance they end up having the opportunity to clinch while in TO, you bet your sweet mesquite ass that I'll be going to that game too.

Interesting tidbit from tonight's game:

"No penalties were called in Game 6, the first penalty-free game in the AHL since Dec. 26, 2016."

I noticed that on the score sheet.

Also, Roope is a man. I thought he looked like he belonged on the NHL this season.

Do you need a mooterus shipped up to you to wear to the game?

He already has a Fistric jersey, what more could he need?

I actually wouldn't mind owning a Mooterus jersery. It'd be like owning a Gacy painting.

Gotten to:

I was sitting behind the guy he was going after, and directly behind the 11-12 year old girl Didomenico made cry.

Section 118 was jeering a bunch of the players from the Ice Hogs, nothing worse than typical hockey jeers. No swearing, no threats. Didomenico was getting a bunch of it, because he sprayed section 118 with water in game 2, they didn't like that particularly well. Either way, nothing was over the line, in my opinion.

The guy that Didomenico went after did nothing worse than wave at Didomenico with a creepy face every time he came to the bench. Didn't do anything else. I'm really surprised Didomenico went after him to be honest, the rest of the section was much rowdier than said guy.

The arena staff came over after the incident and got the videos from the fans as well as statements, and will be submitting it to the AHL. They told us he'll likely get a fine.

Cody requests that if anyone is watching this game and sees him fighting with the Toronto mascot, please record it and post it.

I think it's on tape delay tomorrow on the NHL network. I'll try to record it.

Two goalies with great stats and it's 6-5 TO with still 5 minutes to go. When I last checked it was 4-3 Stars.

Thanks, Kat!

There was a playful altercation with the mascot and I after the first Stars goal was being disputed.

And McKenna was TERRIBLE. He absolutely Kari'd us this game.

Well, I’ve set the dvr to record the rebroadcast, but some one who could actually edit the clip and post it should probably record it too. :) I’m just gonna watch it, and look for Cody and the Mascot rumble. CBC showed highlights in the first intermission. All TO goals.

Team looks like garbage.
It's nice too making Hintz ineffective, putting him with two useless players for offense.
Elie sucks.

2-1 Stars. Game two was a lot tighter than game 1, for sure. Stars played well. TO came out pretty hard to start, but Texas took over in the second half. Is a shame Gurianov is a scratch. Mostly the veterans running the show. But Hintz, I noticed.

Zipped thru the first game. Saw the disallowed goal, but not the mascot or Cody. Yeah, McKenna Kari-ed up most of those 6 goals against.

Heika interviewed some Stars assistant GM to ask about various prospects playing in these playoffs. Even that dude couldn't describe Gurianov's game in a way that sounded promising.

Here's the link: https://www.nhl.com/stars/news/closer-l ... -298725982

My translation of his comments on other players:

Dickinson: He's good at everything except scoring or assisting goals.

Hintz: The best of a pretty unimpressive lot of forwards.

Elie: Fast dude with no hands.

Bayreuther: He's well on his way to being the daily healthy scratch in Dallas next season.

Heatherington: Has zero puck skills.

The players not contributing are also the ones the Dallas Stars tout as prospects.

I mean, does anyone at this point really believe the Stars when they talk about their prospects?

Team lacks offense, sure would be nice if there wasn't a player who had a goal scorers shot on the bench. Yeah, he doesn't shoot enough, and he's very inconsistent. No reason he should be sitting.

Don’t turn him into a savior. He only had two goals in the 14 playoff games he’s played so far.
