With any luck, this kid could be the next Junior Lessard!

Speaking of, I decided to look up the current Hobey Baker nominees since Todd mentioned that Colton Point was nominted.
I didn't realize that there were literally 74 nominees and that the voting was done via social media like a *Dang ol'* tournament bracket ...

He signed with the Kings. Oh well.

Don't look now, but Guarianov actually having a worse season than last season where he was disappointing. In the past 14 games, he's scored two goals and had one assist. He hasn't even generated a shot on goal over the past three games. This is now two bad seasons in the AHL. He only has one more season left on his entry level deal, and he's yet to show he can even be a decent AHLer. This pick has bust written all over it.

How about we draft an enigmatic Russian GOALIE this year? Combine all our weak spots into one pick.

Only if he is injury prone and wins tons of games once his team is eliminated from the playoffs.

Robertson with four goals and three assists in five games as his team advances. Camaano had five points in five playoff games to advance, and if both win the next round, they'll face each other for the championship.

Tufte goes up against Ohio Fucksticks State to-night in the Frozen Four.

The Stars also have a guy, Cecconi, who plays D for Michigan (who plays Notre Dame to-night in the other Frozen Four game), and is pretty good at it. Cecconi is another 5th rounder who was an afterthought at the time, but who has gone from "Defensive Stalwart" to "Defensive Stalwart Who Can Actually Score Quite a Bit" this season.

He looked pretty fiesty after that. Always crashing the net, some scrums, and an elbowing penalty that was mostly called because he was 9 inches taller than the other dude he slammed against the glass.

Cecconi with an assist on the second goal, but Michigan goes down in the final minute (not his fault) to ND. At least Tufte will have another championship game tomorrow.

Hopefully he was just injured or something the first half, and this is Real Gurianov.

Isn’t this a near copy of his prior season?
