What's wrong with that? He's cheap, and he knows everyone's name. That's all that matters. You want a goalie that can greet guys as they get to the bench.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

If he plays anything like he did against Chicago, I'll be more than happy to have him as the back up.

He played OK in his few games last year.

He needs NHL ice time to get better.

Why go spend money on a back-up when he is available?

I don't question the Stars when it comes to producing goalies.

Jason has assured me that Stephan will have a proper looking Goalie mask this year, so my idea of rushing Bachman is starting to subside.
That Hanzal's so hurt right now.

I have it on good authority that it will be made mostly of bacon. How hot is that?

Assuming he uses the one from pre-season games.
That will be the helmet.
If not a bit different color design.

He probably will have a design on it. Instead of the cheap black or green one which mean you aren't going to be up for that long.

it's the design and shape of the helmet that i don't like, though i wouldn't be against him sporting an old school Kelly Hrudey helmet with a blue bandana sticking out the back.

Stephan should take something that sticks out (pads/helmet color and design).
Swiss cheese and the Swiss alps on the mask. this color for his pads

all I'm saying is detroit has a good goalie in Osgood, yet they still went out and spent money for a backup. We on the other hand are goin for unproven for backup. Not good if Turco goes into a slump.

even if turco goes into a slump he will still get the majority of playing time. i think they'd rather have him work himself out of it then sit him and have him doubt himself more.

So would you rather have someone that's wants to be the #1 in the younger goalie, or a veteran backup that's happy as a backup?

Seams very simple on the answer as the younger goalie.

I'd rather have a goalie with the ability to takeover as #1 in case Turco can't go. I just don't see Stephan as ready.

i'm up for it.. and i won't even command as much as tobias. i'm young and i've played goalie before, mainly 3rd grade kickball. but i was good. at letting the other team win.

I'd always kick the ball on top of the school roof(like 25ft or so), since I got underneath the ball all the time when I played dodge ball in 2nd or 3rd grade.
