I'm looking forward to tomorrow's Rangers/TB game. Of course, I was looking forward to today's game, too, but Center Ice didn't air it.

It was on NHL Network.

I'm glad you have the NHL Network. Good for you. I can't watch games on that channel, but what I can do is attend an NHL game without having to drive four hours . . . to another state . . . because Sux Falls, SD doesn't have an NHL team!

In other news, Ottawa is beating Pittsburgh. Go Ottawa!

I don't really like the road this is leading down. Games in Europe to start the season were a nice little novelty this year, but enough already. You are putting teams at the disadvantage of having to go on a brutal road trip half way across the world to start the season, and you are also taking away an entire home game's worth of revenue from teams. Bad idea all around, IMO.

I don't think it's much of a disadvantage. The Lightning won't play again until Saturday. That should be enough time to get over the long flight.

The revenue is another matter. I'm sure the teams get something, maybe a portion of ticket sales from those games.

Eh I don't think it's that bad of a thing.

Anaheim did the stupid thing and agreed to three straight road games right after they got back home.

All other four teams are at least getting 5 days off.

I'm sure they are getting something back for going over there. Otherwise teams and the NHL and NHLPA wouldn't have agreed to go over and play games in Europe.
