Are the Leafs and Habs still going to be playing in empty arenas?
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

I personally will be rooting for the Islanders and Hurricanes, but will be expecting a Tampa repeat.

Game 1 isn't until next Thursday for no reason at all so we'll find out soonish.

I'm rooting for:

East: NY Isles
North: Edmonton, of course.
West: Vegas
Central: Carolina, I guess.

My wants:

East: anyone but the Islanders. I don't want to see Trotz hockey rewarded with more playoff success.
Central: Carolina or Florida (*f-bomb* Nashville)
Pacific: Minnesota (*f-bomb* Vegas and St. Louis)
North: Edmonton or Toronto

The East has no one good to root for. I might have said Washington in the past because Ovechkin is fun, but *f-bomb* Tom Wilson. Also, *f-bomb* Marchand, Malkin, and Trotz.

Overall it may be I'd vote for Edmonton solely for McDavid to win one.

Stamkos and Kucherov are both expected to be back in the line-up for Game 1.

Gee, it's almost like it was planned out that way ...

Maybe Kucherov will be rusty, but probably not. Then again, even a rusty Kucherov is twice the player scratched for him.

I hope they get swept because of Kucherov.

Rangers have been given permission to interview Gallant. Welp. I’m sure that once Bowness is out after next season, David Quinn will still be available.

Vanecek appears to hurt his groin on the Bruins goal, so in comes Craig Anderson, playing in only his 4th game for the Capitals LOL.

Are any coaches who won the Cup 25 years ago still available?

By next summer we should be ready to cycle Marc Crawford back through here.

Craig Anderson was a really good playoff goalie in the past.

This is getting silly.

And I can't believe the Wild haven't scored. They've had some amazing chances.

This battle of Florida looks like it is going to be awesome. I really recommend tuning in.

Man, Florida's defense looks like six Goligoskis out there.

We were a *kitty kitty* hair away from a 4th straight playoff OT, but that game still ruled.

I'm going with my 10k-lake mistress. And the Leafs: no playoffs series win since 2004, their fans are like poor little cubbies I want to cuddle.

Otherwise, *f-bomb* the Habs and Tom Wilson.
