Lose here, and it's over.
Go to OT, and it's over.

This would be a great place for even a one legged Seguin to step in and play. Even if he's buried on the 4th line and getting second unit PP minutes, it will help. Even if this means he doesn't play the next three games to recover. They need this one.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

Seguin is probably arrogant enough to think he can come in and have his own Stamkos moment, but it's not worth the risk. This season is already a waste, it's probably imprudent to risk turning next season into a waste as well trying to salvage this season.

Stamkos is clearly a different level of player. All I want from Seguin is for him to be better than Pysyk on the fourth line and better than Dowling on the PP.

But, why? So they can get blown out in the first round and lose money while doing it? I don't see the point.

Sure. It's better than not making the playoffs.

Normally, I would agree because of the profits. But, don't they lose more money the longer they go in the playoffs this year?

Perfect. Now we can finally have Gardner back to score the game winning goal.

Dallas has said that they will go back to 100% capacity at the AAC for the playoffs.

And no Seguin still. The AHL team is going to get a lot of ice time.

I really fear the decision to start with Khudobin, knowing his great game starts.

He’s made some good saves to start.

Rick Bowness: I want to see more shots.

Stars: How about three in the first 11 minutes? Is that enough?

Ah, then I stand corrected. I guess it would be better to get their asses handed to them by the Lightning lol.

Yup, no goals/softies allowed after 20' is a good first step.

Neither of these teams seem particularly interested in making the playoffs.

There is a point during this extended zone time where the Stars would be better off with Lindell or Vatanen just going to the bunch for fresh legs.
