FYI, the Stars are 2nd in the NHL in goals per game, behind the Canadiens. 6th in goals allowed.

I don't like the recent streak for the Stars, but even with that, from a points % standpoint, they are still 4th in the Central. That same points % would have them:

3rd in the East
3rd in the Canadian division
3rd in the West

So basically, they are right where a lot of folks predicted. Probably in the top quarter or third of teams in the league, but not among the very best, with a chance and structure to do damage in the playoffs.
