Even if he fully heals, it's yet another off-season of not being able to do leg exercises.
I got a ranch in downtown Dallas/I buy diamonds by the ton/Chase cuties in my Cadillac/Drill oil wells just for fun/But when it comes to boots, I need a deal/That will fit me right, toe to heel/So I get my boots at Western Warehouse.

But hey, at least the Stars locked him into a bargain rate for a very very long time.

Seguin should be mostly cyborg in a couple years at this rate of damage and repair.

A losing DVD retrospective seems excessive ...

That Hanzal's so hurt right now.

The last feature doc the Stars put out was about how Sean Avery was the future of the franchise.

I'm going to love the ceremony where they lift the consolation prize banner.

30 points for $4.45m is going to look pretty awful in a couple years when the cap crashes downwards.

They didn't have a choice. They have no forwards in the system who are going to be NHL point producers over the next three seasons. Might as well pay one of the few who is capable of a hot streak.

DBD did a fun "ex" article:
https://theathletic.com/2185444/2020/11 ... x-players/

He didn't do one for the Stars, tho. I'm sure I'm forgetting some obvious ones here, but I'd go with something like this. It's... not as impressive as you'd think.

Forwards: Reilly Smith, Cody Eakin, Mats Zuccarello. Maybe Spezza?
Defensemen: Brendan Dillon, Jordie Benn
Goalie: Jack Campbell

So we've traded away nowhere near the star power of most NHL teams. That's... good?

I would LOVE Haula in a Stars uniform. Maybe more than any other third-liner in the entire NHL. But I don't think they can afford it.

I like him a lot. Quite underrated but one of the fastest skater in the league and trending to upgrade his level in the postseason. He could mesh pretty well with Hintz ang Gurianov. But as you said, money is the bug but Johns's status remains unknown.

Haula is also a Stars-killer. Seems every time we played him he either scored a backbreaking goal or threatened to shorthanded.

Exactly. We need to consider the crucial goal celebration videos as well.

Hey guys, we know you're really heartbroken about losing in the Cup Finals, so we thought we'd pour some salt in the wound by rolling out a new alternate jersey based on the pattern worn by the guys who could get it done.

I think it’s cool how Dallas gets two reverse retro jerseys on top of the neon jersey.

So, it looks like ours will be the white star jersey from 1999-2007 with the current color scheme.

Yup, but I would've have preferred the dark green one: the Stars wore the 1994-1999 whites for home games during in their run.

Minnesota apparently going with North Stars '70s color scheme and Colorado going with the Rockies' theme. Too bad they won't use the Nordiques' scheme, that would have been quite laughable.

Edit: I hadn't looked at the other thread, they would apparently go with the Fleurdélisé.

The logo looks washed out, and the back looks bad with all of the white in the tail.

Epic Fail.

The beautiful 1999-2007 star jersey with the horrible 2007-2013 practice jersey layout. You can barely notice the silver on the white. White gloves and pants will make the players look like bleach on skates.

As further evidence of what a complete dork I am, the white original Battlestar Galactica uniform is the first thing which came to my mind

I thought this sport was trying not to highlight how white it is.
