Tampa just seems to know exactly where our passes are going and where are forwards are trying to get to (usually the perimeter). We're that goddamned predictable. Our only goals come from times we bust through the middle. Tampa legit never seems really ready for that.

That goal by Klingberg was very similar to two goals we scored earlier in the series. Vas can't seem to track the puck well when it bounces back a few feet and there's guys flashing in front of his vision. I wish it were easier to generate those kinds of chances though.

It’s a key reason why they finished the period with three shots. Tampa is dominating the neutral zone. The Stars struggle to connect a pass across their own blue line.

Hah, the top-ranked U.S. skater in this year's draft wants to model himself after Heiskanen.

God, that must make him feel old AF.

I think he’s playing hurt. His legs aren’t what they were.

I'd like to see Hintz have some sort of impact.

Also, I'd like for Gurianov to not be bad.

Yep, my bad there.
God we can barely get it out of the zone and if we do it is just by throwing it out. This is ugly hockey by the Stars.

So between the legs leads to a penalty and under the skate is ok.

to be fair, the core problem is their pp is a terrifying machine and ours won't generate anything. so it's probably not just a matter of getting calls.

Also hard to get PPs when you never have the puck in the offensive zone.

I did notice the broadcast (Olcyzk I think) called out Miro for a bad pass and overall just whelming play.

That’s the dumbest goal in playoffs history.
